Amanda Scott started her oil and gas industry career with Petroleum ETC in 2013 as an Event Coordinator. Her expertise in providing advisory services now spans across the entire energy value chain from think tank to commercialization and from concept to venture capitalists. She is a dynamic deliverer of training programs that incorporate client’s specific developmental needs, such as work protocols, technology training, safety and etiquette skills for young professional engineers. Amanda oversees operations of Petroleum ETC’s Ventures and Events. She has obtained a challenging leadership position applying creative problem solving and lean management skills with a growing company to achieve ideal utilization of its resources and maximum profits. Through strategic marketing, branding, and strong partnerships, she has been able to drive successful businesses to reach and connect with their target markets. Building a successful organization requires far more than talent and strategy, it boils down to one thing—passion. Amanda credits her passion for outstanding performance and a commitment to building long-lasting, trusting relationships with clients and key stakeholders as the foundation to her success. Her specialty is working with start-ups to produce performance breakthroughs in productivity and leadership.

Throughout her career, Amanda has led several initiatives in corporate strategy and operational excellence, which has given Petroleum ETC a strong foundation and framework in which to grow. Her highly-customized approach to each project ensures all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with the highest level of quality. Her other focuses include client services, account management, internal/external communications, marketing communications, non-profit association management, training material development and implementation, and O&G event marketing. Additionally, Amanda is a passionate supporter for women’s leadership roles and an activist for human-trafficking victims.

Amanda is certified by Rice University, through the university’s Leadership & Decision Making in the Energy Industry Program (with a focus on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable and Electric Energy).

Amanda E. LaBrie currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Event Manager of PetroleumETC. As Vice President, Amanda’s role concentrates on expanding PetroleumETC’s business portfolio by focusing on the critical issues in the industry, by seeking out new technological advances that will solve the operational needs of a company. Amanda works with operators and service companies, ranging from the supermajors to small independents all seeking to enhance efficiency incorporating new innovative technology processes in their company. By staying abreast of current industry matters she takes a un-bias approach when tailoring academic information clients need to solve current and foreseeable issues facing the company. Amanda has over a decade of experience in oil and gas living in Midland Texas, working as an In-House Landman for E&P companies including Energen, Callon Petroleum Company, and EOG Resources. In 2018 Amanda moved to Houston Texas, in order to broaden her career by incorporating her oil and gas profession to Business Development. Prior to joining PetroleumETC Amanda took on the role of Vice President of Business Development and Landman at Sourcewater a small start-up software company. Born and raised in Houston, Amanda moved to West Texas in 2004 when she received a full athletic scholarship in swimming at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Over 4 years she achieved eleven All-American NCAA-D2 titles, her best event being the 100yard breaststroke. In addition to swimming, she was on the cheerleading squad and participated in intramural tennis. Graduating with a Political Science and Business Management degree in 2008, she continued her education and earned a Masters in Business Administration, accompanied by a teaching certificate graduating in 2011. Throughout the years Amanda has served on numerous clubs, and association in her local community. Serving 3years on the City of Midland Community Development board; four years on the board of the PBLA, currently she is an active member of the AAPL, HGS, PWS, PBLA, WEN, YPE, and SPE. In her personal time Amanda volunteers at the HSPCA rehabilitating horses, mentors middle school students, and playing with her 5 dogs. Tailoring to companies who desire to enhance their employee’s abreast, learning all the new technological advancement in the in the oil and gas industry. and which through researching technology encompassing a more detailed range of industry technology advances through the integration of new methods of client outreach by customizing to the specific needs of our clients.
